"His name is Gary Hobson. He gets tomorrow's newspaper today. He doesn't know how. He doesn't know why. All he knows is when the early edition hits his doorstep, he has twenty-four hours to set things right."
Kristy Swanson, the original Buffy of the vampire slaying kind, was his love interest on the show. Pretty much when this show came on, it meant that I had stayed up way too late, like so late that absolutely nothing else was on, not even Elimidate.
Anyways! So imagine my surprise to discover what an amazing actor Kyle Chandler turned out to be, and kind of depressing that he had been wasting his considerable talent all these years on crap like Early Edition that probably never even aired during normal waking hours for all I know.
But the actual Hot Guy Of The Day, or HGOTD as the cool kids call it, is Coach Eric Taylor, as I have yet to see Kyle Chandler in any other role. Coach Eric is like a really hot version of your friend's dad who was your high school principal or history teacher who coached the football team. He's really hot in general, but he's especially hot when he's angry like in this picture. He's also hot when he's doing the following things:
-giving tough love/inspiration to one of the many hot boys he coaches
-scaring the hell out of the boys that his daughter dates
-being a total dude and not understanding when his wife needs something
-quietly brooding when he has to deal with crazy Texas town politics
For that and so much more he is the Hot Guy Of The Day.
